Vernon L. Davis was born and raised in Donora in western Pennsylvania, where he was a stand-out athlete, achieving All-State status as a football player and wrestler. Upon graduation, he attended The Pennsylvania State University where he earned a baccalaureate degree in Industrial Engineering in 1985. He is currently employed by Penn State as a Contractor Liaison for the Office of Physical Plant.

He has been ministering in the Word for more than 20 years.  He was indispensable in directing and completing the conversion of the UCJC facility from its previous form as a mining-training site to its present condition. From 1987 through 1990, he served an armor bearer for the leadership of Unity Christian Ministries in Williamsport. Currently, he serves as Assistant Pastor under the leadership of Senior Pastors Harold & Sherren McKenzie leads the Men’s Ministry and Mentoring Program.

Noted for his “country preacher” style, his first ministry is to his wife, Kimberly and their three sons (Vernon II, Derek, and Sheldon) without whose support his ministry would be incomplete.
